The video includes footage from the latest series of the ITV2 hit dating show, alongside  Love Island host, Maya Jama saying: "this is Love Island you never know when someone will walk through that door."

Teasing cut-away shots have been included to show Ross, who is wearing the Bristol City kit, making his dramatic bombshell entrance as if he’s about to enter the  Love Island villa. The clip then shows the islanders’ shocked faces as Ross puts on a pair of shades and gives a thumbs up to the camera.

His name appears across the bottom of the screen in the same Love Island font, as the show uses for their real bombshells. The viral clip caught the attention of Love Island host, Maya, who voiced her opinion.

The Bristol-native reposted the video to her own account and replied saying: "My family are Rovers but I support anything Bristolian so I’m here for this." The new Bristol City midfielder wasted no time at all, when replying to the presenter, and his cheeky reply gathered a string of hilarious responses from City fans..
