Maya appeared makeup free and opted to wear her hair with a relaxed centre part to complete the casual look.

Despite already being known for having an enviable figure, it seems that she has been working hard in the gym to achieve her desired look for Love Island.

Alongside an island emoji, Woz captioned the post: “I GOT A MESSAGE. @Love Island, your new host is in shape and ready."

This comes after it was confirmed that Maya Jama would be replacing long-running host Laura Whitmore. The Irish presenter, 37, fronted the popular dating reality show for three series after joining in 2020.

Laura explained in a statement shared on Instagram that she would be stepping back from Love Island because “certain elements of the show” were difficult to fulfil alongside her other conflicting projects.

Maya Jama became a favourite to replace Laura after previously presenting shows such as ITV’s Cannonball and Walk The Line. She is set to travel to South Africa to host the winter series of Love Island which will air in early 2023.

The director of Reality Programming & Acquisitions and Controller, ITV2, ITVBe & CITV, Paul Mortimer said: "Finding a new host to follow the wonderful Laura Whitmore was never going to be easy.

"In Maya Jama though, we have another high profile fan of the show who’ll be a great addition to the Love Island family.

"Cool, charming and charismatic, I speak for us all when I say Maya will also bring a unique presenting style to the show, as did Laura and, of course, the very much missed Caroline Flack. We’re very pleased to have her on board.”

Maya added: “I’ve always been such a massive Love Island fan and I’m so excited to be hosting one of the nation’s favourite shows! I can’t wait to get into the Villa to meet all of the Islanders.”

Maya’s presence on the dating show comes after rumours that she had reunited with ex-boyfriend Stormzy were denied by her representatives.

The TV presenter and rapper, 29, from London, dated for four years before ending their relationship in 2019.

The former couple both attended GQ Men of the Year in West London last month, with a source telling The Sun that they spent “loads of time together.”

The insider added: “Stormzy and Maya are together again. They’re taking it slow but are very much back in each other’s lives after a long time when they didn’t speak or see each other.”

However Maya’s rep explained to Digital Spy that claims the pair are back in a relationship aren’t true, saying: “Maya and Stormzy remain great friends."
