Maya Jama has returned to South Africa to cause havoc amongst the Love Island contestants.

The TV presenter, 28, from Bristol, is set to host a brutal mass dumping where several Islanders will be sent home and romantic ties severed, according to The Sun. She teased her return to the villa on Instagram, sharing photos of herself enjoying a burger and a glass of champagne in the departures lounge at the airport.

With only two weeks to go until the final, many of the Love Island couples are desperate to avoid the cull as the £50,000 prize is now within reach. If fans thought Casa Amor and Movie Night were dramatic, they will be on the edge of their seats tonight as they await the names of the unfortunate few to return home.

This shock dumping leaves Will and Jessie, Lana and Ron, Shaq and Tanya, Kai and Sanam, Tom and Samie, Olivia and Maxwell, Claudia and new bombshell Keanan and Casey and new bombshell Rosie all at risk.

Fans have been desperate for a shake-up and have been growing restless after watching the love triangle play out between Casey, Rosie and Claudia.

Casey finally made his decision on Monday night, saying to Claudia: “I’m sorry if you felt pushed aside, but there’s more of a connection there with Rosie.”

Casey insisted he had behaved honourably, saying he’d been "honest and upfront" with her.

Claudia, however, stressed that Casey knew right from the start that he was attracted to Rosie.

Fans were split over who was in the right so Maya couldn’t come at a better time to really stir up some drama.

One tweeted: “Sorry but Casey isn’t the villain the girls are making him out to be. It’s Love Island so grow up.”

Another Casey fan said: “Claudia is so pathetic. Casey has done nothing wrong and if anything, these actions from Claudia just prove why he’s drifting away”

Fans were also annoyed at the way Rosie was treated on arrival:

“ I hate how the girls treat new bombshells. It’s such mean-girl-energy,” one tweeted.
