Organised by local groups Latin American Community Support (LACS) and Latinas in Bristol (LIB), it follows the success of the inaugural market held last September.

The organisers told BristolWorld the aim of the event is to “create a space where Latinos have a place not only to eat delicious food, but also to reconnect with a piece of their homeland”.

Gisela de Bernardo, from LACS, said: "We have been working with the Latin community for many years to create a space where we can feel at home, showcasing our culture, teaching our children about their roots, and striving to enhance diversity in Bristol."

Laila Garzon, from LIB, added: "We noticed the lack of Latin representation in Bristol, which led us to focus on creating this space and to work on other projects that focus on the Latin community while simultaneously ensuring the inclusion of the diverse communities in Bristol."

The frist Latin market will be held on April 14, from 11am to 4pm, taking place on the second Sunday of every month after that until October.
