The store will be located in the heart of the rapidly expanding Yate centre which was built in 1965 and recognised as the “hub for the larger community.” It is now home to over a hundred retail and leisure operators.

Peter Clayton, Director, In Town Retail at Savills Bristol, said: “Yate Shopping Centre continues to go from strength to strength and we are delighted that F.Hinds have made the investment to expand their offering with a unit double the size of their previous one in the heart of the scheme. We look forward to continue working with this longstanding and much valued tenant, and wish F.Hinds every success in the new unit.”

Paul Hinds, Managing Director at F.Hinds, said: “We are thrilled to see our much-loved F.Hinds store get upgraded to a bigger and better unit here at Yate Shopping Centre. We opened our original store in 1970 and are pleased to show our commitment to the town with a new shop which shows our confidence in Yate and bricks-and-mortar retail in general. We wish the team all the best with their relocation and look forward to welcoming back our loyal customers.”
