Man to appear in court today charged with attempted murder after woman stabbed multiple times in Filton

A man is due in court today (March 2) having been charged with attempted murder after a woman was stabbed multiple times in a violent attack in Horfield.

David Sosa Saloman, of Oldmixon Crescent in Weston, was remanded in custody having been charged in connection with the incident which took place outside a pub in Filton Avenue, on Tuesday (February 28). A woman was found wounded and later taken to hospital, although her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

The 36-year-old man has also been charged with one single count each of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and affray.
