A man has been arrested on suspicion of child abduction after a missing teenager went missing between Christmas and New Year.

The 14-year-old girl from Sherston, near Malmesbury, was reported missing on Friday (December 29) after getting into a car outside a pub.

Police say the teenager has been located at a property out of the Wiltshire county and is now safely in police care. 

A man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of child abduction and is in police custody for questioning.
