Major fashion retailer to close doors of main Bristol store

A popular fashion brand has announced that it is closing its shop in central Bristol.

The Jack Wills store in the Galleries shopping centre in Broadmead has started a closing down sale in the run-up to Christmas, with 20% off items.

Bristol World understands the store will close its doors in January, although selected Jack Wills items will be available in nearby House of Fraser and JD Sports stores. Jack Wills still has a store at The Mall in Cribbs Causeway.

A member of staff told Bristol World that the closure was due to wider plans for the Galleries is closed and redeveloped at the end of 2024.

The building that houses Jack Wills is not part of the the redevelopment as it's a Grade II-listed former almshouse.
