The sun was shining brightly on hundreds of happy revellers who today turned up today (May 27) for the first day of Love Saves The Day at Ashton Court in Bristol.

These pictures show the joy as the festival-goers raised the atmosphere at the event, which opened its gates at 12noon today.

Today’s headliners were Fat Boy Slim and Andy C - but they were joined by dozens of other acts who also lit up the stage.
