Light Up Bristol returns this month with another spectacular show, this time at the Ashton Court Estate.
Taking place from November 19 to December 24, with sessions starting at 4.30pm, the event will host an array of light exhibitions and art work from local artists.
And this year, in line with the COP 26 conference in Glasgow, organisers are trying to ensure they do their light show in the most green way possible.
Ben Harding, events managers, said: “We are using LEDs, that way we don’t need to use as much energy, alongside this all the artists are using recycled materials.”
Ashton Court has been chosen due to it’s location and natural beauty.
It is no stranger to major events as it has been the home for the International Balloon Fiesta for many years, an event which brings people in from all over the world.
And after a Christmas like 2020, Mr Harding said the trail ‘will bring people together’ and ‘bring in the Christmas spirit’.
One of the things that the Light Up Bristol team is excited about is the projecting of lights and images on to Ashton Court Mansion.
As well as lights and song, there will also be food and drink on offer like toasted marshmallows, hot chocolates and mulled wines.
