Lewis Calpadi’s website crashed this morning as thousands of people try to get tickets for a series of newly-announced gigs, including one at the Marble Factory in Bristol.

At 10am, the £20 tickets for the show in Bristol on May 5 went on sale. But as thousands went to buy them, the website crashed - and then when it was back up and running 10 minutes later, people could only buy a ticket on the ‘waiting list’.

Shortly after 10.15am, Lewis tweeted: “All tickets went for all of them in literally a split second thank u all so so fucking much!!!!! can’t wait for theseeeee x”

The announced gig conincides with the release of his new album ‘Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent’. The show will contain acoustic renditions of well-known songs and Lewis will even engage in an audience Q&A.

Along with Bristol, he is heading to Kingston, Dundee and Glasgow. Bristol will be the smallest sized gig.

Tickets for Lewis Capaldi’s Marble Factory show should be available via the Lewis Capaldi website. The limited tickets will be available for a bargain £20.
