The pancake and dessert cafe is a 'viral sensation'

A pancake shop known for its speciality Japanese soufflé pancakes is set to open a branch in Bristol.

Fluffy Fluffy, a Canadian dessert chain which has become a 'viral sensation', is set to open in a yet-to-be announced location .

The light and fluffy pancakes come with an array of toppings to choose from, with some of the favourites being Nutella, blueberry, tiramisu, pistachio and Biscoff.

The store, which has an open kitchen layout, also makes cheesecakes, macarons, and a variety of coffees and homemade sodas to pair with desserts.

Announcing the opening on Instagram, Fluffy Fluffy wrote: "Hello Bristol. We are coming for you! Get ready for amazing souffle pancakes at such a beautiful city.  "Keep an eye out for more updates & official opening dates soon."

Fluffy Fluffy currently has four sites in the UK, with a fifth due to open in Liverpool on Saturday (February 10).
