In pictures: We visit the Unicornfest farewell festival in Bristol

61 unicorns are on display at Propyard this weekend

Bristol’s most magical art trail, Unicornfest, is giving the public one last chance to see the ‘blessing’ of unicorns at its Farewell Festival this weekend.

The celebrations, which take place at Propyard in St Philips today (September 23) and tomorrow (September 24) showcase all 60 unicorns and more than 40 foals which have been residing around Bristol throughout the summer holiday period.

Festivalgoers will be the only lucky few to get exclusive access to the final, 61st unicorn, specifically designed for the end of the trail.

The Farewell Festival is a chance to spend time with all the unicorns, get pictures and see up-close the amazing details that have gone into creating the sculptures.

There will be a DJ supplying the tunes and a bar and street food options available. The popular decorate a Dala-Corn sessions will return for the final time at the event and will be arranged and supported by IKEA Bristol across the full weekend.

People will have the opportunity to buy a Dala-Corn and decorate with a wide variety of paints, stickers and pom poms to create a lasting souvenir of the event.

The Farewell Festival takes place at Propyard today and tomorrow, 9am-8pm. Booking online is advised here.
