Eat:Bedminster returned to south Bristol today (April 15) shutting down East Street with hundreds attending the food and drink festival.
This was the second Eat: event to be held in Bedminster with more stalls lining the streets this time following the success of the initial festival. Authentic street food, tasty vegan snacks and even dog treats were available for passersby with more than 60 tents offering food and drink.
The colourful spectacle was well-attended with hundreds constantly shuffling along the high street from 10am with a few hanging around after the 4pm closing time. Some of the busiest stalls included a gluten and sugar-free coffee truck, Thai street food, Mexican dishes, Sri Lankan cuisine and plenty of options for those with a sweet tooth such as ‘Cheeky Pancakes’ and crepes.
