The Brislington Park Home Store will include ‘a great range of quality preloved furniture, electricals and homewares from sofas, tables, beds and wardrobes to TVs and home appliances’.

Sharon Davies, retail area manager for the British Heart Foundation, said: “We are thrilled to be opening the doors of our new Bristol home store in Brislington Retail Park on Tuesday, 30 April, with the help of our staff and volunteers.

"If you want to do a spring refresh of your living room or need an extra garden chair for summer evenings, pop in and see us to explore the preloved gems on offer."

She added: “By shopping preloved at the BHF this spring, you will be joining our Reuse Revolution and will be helping fund lifesaving research to keep families together.

"If you are having a clear out or have a spare couple of hours to help out, we will always welcome volunteers and quality donations.”

The new store will open in Unit 1B - between TK Maxx and Sports Direct - which was previously occupied by Poundstretcher.

It will join a number of other British Heart Foundation charity shops in and around Bristol, including the Bristol Home and Fashion Store in Broadmead.
