Following the success of the first Hopyard earlier this year, Bristol’s newest craft beer festival is heading back next month.

The Oktoberfest-style event at Propyard in St Philips will have a Bavarian flavour, with steins of craft beers from Bristol and beyond, plus local food traders and a side order of Bratwurst and pretzels.

Combining the very best of the beer and music scene, Hopyard will take place on October 21 and 22.

Former Fun Lovin’ Criminals frontman Huey Morgan will be headlining a stellar line-up on the Friday night with a DJ set.

He’ll be joined by Bristol’s very own Angel Mel, along with seven-piece traditional brass band King Brasstards.

Saturday’s line-up will include Madame Electrifie, who will be fusing the finest vintage beats with the best of the modern age to create a raucous dance floor focused party, along with more Oom-Pah classics from King Brasstards. There will also be a headline performance from special guests yet to be announced.

The two-day event will feature drinks from the very best of Bristol’s independent breweries, plus breweries from further afield who’ll be providing unlimited pours to those with an ‘all-you-can-drink’ ticket. Wines, spirits and soft-drinks will also be available to purchase over the weekend.

Hopyard visitors won’t go hungry, with Palestinian-inspired dishes from Jafra and sourdough pizza from Pizzarova. There will also be German Bratwursts and pretzels available to complete the Bavarian-style party.

The two-day event will be held in Propyard’s Crane Room and early-bird tickets are now available to purchase for Hoptoberfest from hopyard.uk for £35 plus booking fee.
