They were given a week to leave in April

The van-dwellers were given a week to leave by Bristol City Council on April 19.

It is understood that after being given a deadline of April 26, some members of the community chose to remain and were subsequently charged.

BristolWorld has asked Bristol City Council for further comment and is awaiting their response.
