Greenbank View van-dwellers due in court over ‘unauthorised camping’

Members of a community who have been living in vans at Greenbank View in Bristol are due to appear in court charged with unauthorised camping.

The group will appear at Bristol Magistrates’ Court this afternoon (Thursday, June 23) after being ordered to leave the road next to Greenbank Cemetery by Bristol City Council.

It is understood that after being given a deadline of April 26, some members of the community chose to remain and were subsequently charged.

BristolWorld has asked Bristol City Council for further comment and is awaiting their response.
