The routes will pass by some of the most iconic landmarks in Bristol

Thousands of runners are getting ready for the biggest annual half-marathon and 10k race event in Bristol.

This year’s AJ Bell Great Bristol Run takes place on Sunday, May 19, starting at Anchor Road, passing by some of the most iconic landmarks in Bristol and finishing at Millennium Square.

The event will kick of with the Mascot Race at 8.45am, the Family Run Start at 9am and the 10k Wheelchair Race at 9.25am, followed by the Visually Impaired Wave (9.28am), 10k Fast Paced and Orange Wave (9.30am), 10k Green Wave (9.42am), 10k Pink Wave (9.54am), Half-Marathon Orange Wave (10.40am), Half-Marathon Green Wave (10.56am) and Half-Marathon Pink Wave (11.12am).

Great Bristol Run 2024

Spaces for the Family Run, half marathon and 10k have sold out.

However, a number of charity places are still available for the 10k and half marathon events. They are also going quickly so be sure to sign up fast at www.greatrun.org/events/great-bristol-run/#charities
