A furniture retailer is set to open the doors to a new 'premium' showroom in Bristol.

Lee Longlands' new store in The Retail Park at Cribbs Causeway promises to bring customers 'outstanding quality and value for money with its unique and bespoke furniture ranges'.

Opening on Boxing Day, shoppers will gain access to exclusive opening day offers on top of the retailer's winter sale prices.

The new Cribbs Causeway showroom will be the seventh shop for Lee Longlands. Its other stores are located primarily around the Midlands area, with Cheltenham being the next closest for shoppers in the South West.

The family-run business has been trading for more than 120 years. Fourth-generation family member Robert Lee, who started working in the company during the summer holidays at the age of 14 before joining full-time in 1996, is still at the helm.

Robert said: “As Bristol’s premium furniture retail destination, we are delighted to be opening a showroom at Cribbs Causeway.

"Although we are extremely well known in the Midlands, we wanted to spread our wings to other areas of the country and believe we can bring something ‘wonderfully different’ to local shoppers looking to beautifully furnish their homes.

"We source our products from around the world, work with small independent UK manufacturers as well as premium brands such as Bontempi, Ercol, Kartell, Stressless and Tempur, to create an effortless shopping experience for our customers, which really is second to none."

Lee Longlands previously had a pop-up store in Cabot Circus around 13 years, so Robert says it is "very exciting" to be coming back to the Bristol area.

Robert added: "Cribbs Causeway is an ideal location, not only due to its great access and transport links but it also allows us to have a large enough space to showcase the full extent of our ranges.

"From contemporary to glamour, furniture to flooring this new showroom will be a one stop shop for customers’ home furnishing needs.”

The new Lee Longlands showroom has created 10 new full-time jobs in the local area, along with ongoing opportunities for local tradespeople in relation to the shop fit.

The store will open on Tuesday, December 26 (Boxing Day), from 9.30am until 8pm.
