First wave of restaurants announced for new Bristol food festival on The Downs

Bristol’s newest food festival, Feast On, has announced the first wave of restaurants, chefs and food providers who will be joining their line-up on The Downs this July.

Feast On is the brainchild of local chef James Haggart and takes place on The Downs from Friday July 26 to Sunday July 28.

The festival will showcase the best independent restaurants, chefs, producers and street-food traders from across Bristol and the South West, and has already sold out of their first release tickets.

Feast On will be a three-day foodie extravaganza, and will feature an eclectic mix of local restaurants, cuisines and producers, as well as plenty of family friendly entertainment. Today they have announced their first wave of confirmed restaurants, chefs and food providers who will be joining them in July.

As well as plenty of street food traders, the festival will include a live music stage featuring Bristol bands, cooking demos, open fire cooking, talks on food sustainability, wine tastings, and even a cookery school. Second release tickets going on sale on Tuesday April 16.
