Developers creating a huge housing estate next to the proposed Bristol Arena have offered a sneak peak inside the second collection of new homes being built there before they go up for sale this weekend.
The first round of apartments at the Brabazon development, on the former Filton Airfield, sold out off-plan in early 2022, say YTL Developments.

The new apartments have been designed by award-winning Bristol-based architects Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios. Owners will benefit from allocated parking, high ceilings, a variety of outside spaces such as balconies and terraces and underfloor heating.

The Dials also boasts a residents’ gym and an on-site estate manager, as well as security measures that include fob access, an entry phone system and CCTV coverage.

Jon McDiarmid, director at YTL Developments said it was ‘incredible’ to see how quickly the apartments at The Navigator Building sold out earlier this year.
He added: I”t’s clear that local people are excited to see this historic former Airfield be transformed and want to be part of the next generation to shape the future at Brabazon.

“In response, we’ve brought forward the release of the first properties in our latest apartment building: The Dials.
“Offering more space, more flexibility and much, much more included as standard, the studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments that will be available to reserve from this weekend will not only be a place to live, but a place to enjoy the best that life has to offer.”

As part of a wider plan, YTL Developments have set out ambitions to build a maximum of 6,500 homes at the site over the next three decades.
New community facilities would include three schools, a library, doctor’s surgery and sports facilities, all surrounded by landscaped public squares and parkland. The group started work on Bristol arena in February.
