Doug Claringbold, Managing Director for First West of England said: “Travel patterns are always different over the festive period, with fewer people using the bus network, so we’ve adjusted our timetables to reflect that.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our staff who’ve worked incredibly hard to keep the buses running throughout the year. We want to show our appreciation for this and give them some well-deserved time off, so as in previous years, we’ve taken the decision not to operate on Boxing Day.

“We wish all our customers a very happy and safe festive period.”

A breakdown of the 10-day timetable can be found below:

Christmas Eve (Sat Dec 24): Normal Saturday service but with some services finishing earlier. No buses will start a new journey after 2000 (except A1 and A3 Airport Flyers which will run until their normal finish time)

Christmas Day (Sun Dec 25): No services running
