Whitehall, 35, and his model girlfriend Roxy Horner became parents for the first time last month when their daughter, Elsie, was born.

The star was lucky to get a table at The Bank Tavern, which famously has a four-year waiting list for Sunday lunch.

A survey over the summer listed the tucked away pub as the hardest restaurant in the world to get a reservation.

The pub posted a picture of Whitehall with landlord Sam Gregory and the message ‘Jack Whitehall knows about Bristol’s best roast - pleasure to have you in mate, good luck for the show’.

Customers reacted with shock but also took to social media to check if the comedian had booked. One person said: ‘I do hope he had a booking. On the waiting list for months!’. Another joked ‘guess he booked a couple of years ago!’
