Thousands of pounds worth of paint, rollers and brushes were stolen in a raid on a decorating centre off the Bristol to Bath Railway Path over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen suspicious activity near Crown Decorating Centre, in New Station Road, in Fishponds between 2.15pm on Saturday, April 30 and 7.30am on May 2.

The offenders broke into the centre through the yard and rear fire door, before loading the stolen goods into a vehicle through the large shutters at the front of the warehouse.

The items included paint, rollers, brushes, electronic equipment and clothing.
