South Gloucestershire Council has released a statement after a teenage boy was tragically killed in a crash at the Wraxall Road through-about in Warmley.
The 16-year-old was killed when his moped collided with a car at the roundabout on the A4174 Avon Ring Road on Easter Sunday (April 17).

The boy has been named locally as Daniel, and his mother Sam Davies has led tributes to him online with the hastags #candle4daniel and #candlefordaniel.
The incident has sparked further concerns over the safety of the ring road and the roundabout, which re-opened as a through-about in October 2021 following a £6.9million investment from South Gloucestershire Council.
The project saw lanes installed through the middle of the roundabout, but some argue that drivers have struggled to get used to the complex new layout.

BristolWorld asked the authority if there were any plans to review road safety in the area in light of the fatal collision on Sunday.
But a spokesperson said that the authority was unable to comment on those concerns until the ongoing police investigation was complete.
The authority’s statement read: “We were deeply saddened to hear of a traffic collision on the A4174 over the Easter weekend involving a moped and a car, in which a young person lost their life.
“Avon and Somerset Police are leading an investigation into the incident, and we are supporting them with their enquiries.”
