Detectives are renewing their appeal for help identifying a man in a CCTV image who they believe could be a key witness in an ongoing serious sexual assault investigation in Bristol.

The incident happened at a hotel in the city during the early hours of Monday, June 14.

Officers have interviewed a 34-year-old man from Bristol in connection with the inquiry.

As part of their continuing enquiries, they are keen to trace the man in the CCTV image who they think may have witnessed part of the assault or have information about it.

He’s believed to be in his early 20s and is of slim build.

The victim continues to be updated on the progress of the investigation and has been provided access to specialist support services.

Anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV image is asked to call 101 and provide the call handler with the reference 5221132440.
