Police have released a CCTV image of a cyclist officers believe could be a key witness in an investigation of a rape of a woman.

The cyclist, seen wearing a bright red jacket, walked with the victim along Winterstoke Road in south Bristol on December 3 at around 9am.

The victim, who was pulling a black suitcase behind them as they walked, hadn’t met the cyclist before but says he told them his name was Mateusz.

The pair entered South Bristol Retail Park having walked south from the direction of Ashton Road.
