Those going about their business around Bristol’s floating harbour this morning (Thursday, October 21) got a shock when an HGV plunged into the freezing water in front of them.
The incident happened shortly after 7am this morning and involved an Artic lorry carrying costumes from The Outlaws, a new BBC series set in Bristol.

1. Shock incident
Bristol residents taking their morning constiution around the harbour got a shock this morning when a HGV plunged into the Harbour before their very eyes.
2. Police and firefighters at scene
Avon Fire and Rescue teams were quickly on the scene and cordoned off the area around the HGV.
3. A close shave
The HGV narrowly missed boats moored in the harbour. Fortunately, nobody appears to have been hurt.

The lorry was taking away costumes following the last day of filming for The Outlaws, a new BBC series based in Bristol.
