Motorcyclist dies after crash involving pedestrian near Ashton Gate Stadium

Police are appealing for information after a 20-year-old man died in a crash between a motorbike and a pedestrian in Bristol.

It happened at around 5.40pm on Saturday, January 15 on Winterstoke Road, not far from Ashton Gate Stadium.

Three people were taken to hospital following the collision and the road was sealed off while police carried out enquiries.

Sadly, the 20-year-old motorcycle rider has since died from his injuries in hospital.

A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: “Our thought are with his family at this sad time.

“Witnesses, or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage, should call 101 and give reference number 5222011657.”
