Police have released CCTV images of five people they’d like to speak to after a fight in a Wetherspoon pub left a man in hospital with broken ribs and a ‘nasty’ head injury.
It happened at The Robert Fitzharding pub in Canon Street, Bedminster on the evening of Wednesday, February 2.

Hide AdOfficers are now piecing together the circumstances behind the ‘public order’ incident, which involved a number of men in the pub’s smoking area at around 11.30pm.
One person, in his 30s, was assaulted and taken to hospital for treatment. Police said he sustained ‘nasty’ injuries in the attack, including broken ribs and a head injury that needed stitches.
A spokesperson said: “The pub was busy on the night in question and therefore we hope there may be a number of witnesses who can help us with our investigation.
“We have studied CCTV footage and there are five men we asking the public to help us identify. We would like to speak with them in connection with this incident.”
