CCTV appeal launched after thieves make off with £14,000 worth of camera equipment from Montpelier store

Police investigating the theft of £14,000 worth of camera equipment from a store in Montpelier have released a CCTV image of two men they want to speak to in connection with the incident.

It happened sometime between 2.20pm and 2.45pm at a shop on Station Road on Saturday, February 5.

After swiping the the camera equipment, the offenders than ran off in the direction of Cheltenham Road.

The men in the CCTV image are white, with one wearing a dark blue jacket, light coloured jeans and a blue face mask.

The other was wearing blue clothing and a hat.

A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: “If you recognise either man, or have information which could help our investigation, please call us on 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5222029701.”
