CCTV appeal after young man attacked outside Whiteladies Road pub

Police have released CCTV images of a man they’d like to speak to after a man was assaulted outside a Bristol pub.

The victim, who is in his 20s, and a friend were standing outside the Kings Arms on Whiteladies Road when a man and a woman approached them and asked them for a lighter.

The victim was then punched by the unknown male, causing him to fall and hit his head.

He attended hospital for his injuries and is now recovering, say Avon and Somerset Police.

The man officers want to speak to is described as white, in his mid-30s, around 5ft 7in tall, with dark short hair and of a stocky build.

He was wearing a black puffer jacket with black jeans.
