Come Dine with Me is in Bristol this week, and tonight (Tuesday, February 6) it’s the turn of Rovers legend Adam Tutton to wow guests with his culinary talents in the hope of scooping a £1,000 prize. The new five-part series kicked off on Monday and has already seen sparks fly after party girl Jade served up grub resembling “school dinner food” to disgruntled fellow contestants last night.
Despite the hostess pulling out all the stops with a festival theme, things went downhill pretty quickly with guest Sarah describing her food as “the worst canteen food I’ve had”, adding: “If I’d been served that in a restaurant, I would have sent it back”.

Jade received an underwhelming score of 20/40 for her efforts, a number that Adam will be looking to beat in tonight’s episode. Not much has been revealed about plans for the evening, although it looks his theme will centre around his number one passion - football.
Adam, a born and raised “Bristol boy”, is one of five contestants this week who also include a musician, a property developer and a nanny. He seems to be a forgiving dinner guest so far - speaking about Sarah’s comments towards Jade on last night’s episode, he said: “I think Sarah has it in for Jade.
“Certainly during the whole of the meal she seemed to be trying to rub Jade up the wrong way, and I think Jade actually dealt with it very well”. This week all of the contestants will host their dinner parties at a modern Bristol home that has been provided by Channel 4, as the filming took place during Covid restrictions.

On Thursday, jazz band leader Jack will host a night of “vintage couture, sophistication and class” and the week will end with Sarah’s evening which will see the guests sample “sophisticated children’s food”.
