If you’re searching with a restricted budget in Bristol then your best bet is to look south of the River Avon for a home. Using data provided by the Office of National Statistics (ONS), BristolWorld has pulled together the median property prices for every neighbourhood in Bristol - with almost all of the cheapest 10 options located in the south of the city.
The median property price for the cheapest neighbourhood, Hartcliffe, will set you back £225,000 according to the ONS’ June 2022 figures. This is more than £400,000 less than the median price for Bristol’s most expensive area, Henleaze.

The Bristol neighbourhood with the cheapest median property price is Hartcliffe. The median price paid for a property in this area was £225,00 - up from £204,000 in June 2021.
2. Temple Meads
The Bristol neighbourhood with the second cheapest property prices is Temple Meads. The median price paid for a property in this area was £230,000 - down from £232,000 in June 2021.
3. Withywood
The Bristol neighbourhood with the joint-third cheapest property prices is Withywood. The median price paid for a property in this area was £240,000 - up from £218,500 in June 2021.
4. Knowle West
The Bristol neighbourhood with the joint-third cheapest property prices is Knowle West. The median price paid for a property in this area was £240,000 - up from £213,000 in June 2021.
