Police have released CCTV images of a man they’d like to speak to after a cyclist was stabbed outside a post office in Bristol.

The incident happened on Tuesday, July 26 between 12.30pm - 12.45pm as the victim cycled through the St George area.

The cyclist stopped near the post office in Lawrence Hill where he was stabbed by an unknown man who then fled the scene.

The victim, who is in his 50s, sustained ‘a number of stab wounds’ that required stitches in hospital but he has since returned home.

Police want to talk to the man in the CCTV images as they believe he will be able to help with their investigation into the incident.
