The 'amazement park' will reopen with new rooms, installations and areas in the new year

A popular Bristol 'amazement park' is set to to undergo an expansion with a new level added.

Wake The Tiger on Albert Road in St Philip's will be complete with new rooms, installations and areas when it reopens on February 2, 2024.

The re-opening date - 02.02 - is an 'angel number' which the Wake the Tiger team say is symbolic of a new phase for the award-winning experience.

Commenting on the expansion, Luke Mitchell, creative director at Wake The Tiger, said: “The new expansion will be a beautiful journey of self-discovery and joy, challenging you to look beyond your own limits and explore alternative ways of thinking, living and thriving."

Wake The Tiger, which has been created by the team behind music festival Boomtown Fair, has had more than 250,000 visitors since it opened in summer 2022.

It is described as a a multi-sensory art experience for all ages, with over 30 different immersive environments for visitors to discover.

The experience still has things going on while the expansion is underway, with four new trails to explore and an adult-only Festive After Hours event.
