Bristol's The Ardagh closes its doors temporarily due to safety concerns

The Ardagh on Horfield Common has closed its doors until further notice.

Hide AdOn their Facebook page, the popular venue reported it would close early on Wednesday (June 5) and be closed until further notice due to safety concerns for members of the public.
Today (June 6), they provided an update that their building had been vandalised last night and equipment from the Horfield Common junior parkrun had been take.
The Friday & Bar nights (which were meant to start tomorrow, June 7) have been postponed until next week and The Ardagh’s monthly weekend market (June 8) has been cancelled.

Hide AdThey are waiting for an update from the Bristol City Council and Police and additional security has been added to the site for the next few days.
On a Facebook post today, The Ardagh said: “Thank you to everyone who has been in touch & sent messages checking in - staff, volunteers & Trustees very much appreciate this.

Hide Ad“We are continuing to wait for updates from BCC & the Police but for info, there will be additional security on site for the next few days.
“The Friday Bar & Food nights will now start next Friday & this weekend’s market is cancelled - sorry for any disappointment.
