Drivers in Bristol are already facing queues and delays as the Bank Holiday weekend kicks off.

There are reports of slow traffic and congestion in the centre of the city due to emergency repair work on a water main at the bottom of Park Street at College Green.

Park Street is closed in both directions between City Hall and the University, which is causing additional congestion on Park Row.

There are also reports from the Highways Agency of congestion between junctions 16 and 18 of the M5 southbound at Filton, with delays of around 15 minutes expected.

The M32 southbound at junction J3 Lower Ashley Road interchange is also experiencing congestion, with delays of ten minutes there.
