A Bristol takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Curry Mahal, a takeaway at 351 Church Road, St George, Bristol was given the score after assessment on April 7, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Bristol's 391 takeaways with ratings, 227 (58%) have ratings of five and just six have zero ratings.
