Have noisy neighbours? Well, you won’t be the only one as a Freedom of Information Request sent by Bristol World has revealed Bristol’s noisiest streets.
Bristol City Council received more than 270 noise complaints during 2021 with two streets sharing the top spot with eight complaints during the 12 months.
A few picks on the list will be of no surprise considering their proximity to clubs and bars and their length but some other picks may surprise you. The nuisance notices include complaints ranging from loud music, yelling, banging and dog and animal complaints.

1. Gorse Hill, Staple Hill
There were eight noise complaints registered at Gorse Hill. Three for loud voices, two for banging, two for music and one for dogs and animals.
2. Long Cross, Shirehampton
There were eight noise complaints registered at Station Road. Three for music, three for banging, one for dogs and animals and one for loud voices.
3. Stillingfleet Road, Hartcliffe
There were seven noise complaints registered at Stillingfleet Road. Three for music, two for loud voices, one for banging and one for light nuisance.
4. Station Road, Henbury
There were six noise complaints registered at Station Road. One for music, one for banging, one for loud voices and three for other nuisance
