Bristol school holidays 2023: Full list of term dates and breaks including Easter holidays

The New Year is fully underway, and school children across Bristol are back in the classroom once more. The Christmas and New Year holiday was the last time youngsters were off, but the next school break will be here before we know it.

Children may be counting down the days, parents and guardians not so much. But it’s handy to know exactly when term dates start and finish in order to plan ahead.

The first term of the New Year started for most Bristol students on Tuesday, January 3 - the start of the Spring Term. The next time children will be on holiday from school will be the February half term on Monday, February 13.

Students will return for the second term of the year and the last of the 2022-23 school year, the Summer Term, on Monday, April 17. Here is the full list of term dates in Bristol for the duration of 2023 including when children will finish for the Christmas break.
