‘Vile people in this world’ - popular Bristol roller disco venue forced to suddenly close after incident

BUMP Rollerdisco, on Wellington Road in St Jude’s, has had to close while it repairs the damages following the incident.

Hide AdThe venue, which was closed yesterday (August 28) and again today, hopes to be back open by tomorrow.
BUMP said the incident occurred while its team was at Shambala Festival in Northamptonshire over the bank holiday weekend.
In a statement on social media yesterday, BUMP wrote: “Sorry skaters - we got broken into and have had to close our venue in Bristol today and tomorrow until we repair the damages.

Hide Ad“We are hoping to be back open on Friday (August 30) at 4pm, all going well.”
In the comments, people have expressed sympathy for the venue following the break-in.
“So sorry to hear this, vile people in this world. Hope it’s not too bad,” wrote one person.

BUMP Rollerdisco opened at its current venue in February of this year, after previously being based on Redcliffe Wharf for a couple of years.
