Bristol's motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing holdups of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures are due to start this week:

M32, from 9pm April 25 to 6am April 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound and southbound, junction 15 - 14 lane closures for barrier repairs.

M32, from 10pm May 3 to 6am May 5, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M32, junction 2 to 3 closed southbound, for general maintenance, diversion via B4469, A38, B4051 to junction 3.

M32, from 10pm May 5 to 6am May 7, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M32, junction 3 to 2 closed northbound, for general maintenance, diversion via B4051, A38, Muller Road to junction 2.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
