Bristol's motorists will have six road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

Bristol's motorists will have six road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And three of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that six closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

M5, from 10pm October 3 to 6am October 5, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 18 to 19, lane closure for surveys.

M5, from 9pm October 10 to 6am October 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 19 to 18A, lane closure for surveys.

M32, from 10pm October 11 to 6am October 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M32 northbound, junction 2 to junction 1 carriageway closure for central reservation, diversion B4469 Muller Road, A38, A4174 to M32, junction 1.

M32, from 9pm October 13 to 6am October 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M32 southbound, junction 1 to junction 2 carriageway closure for drainage, diversion, A4174 Filton Road, A38 Gloucester Road, B4469 Muller Road to junction 2.

M5, from 9pm October 16 to 5am October 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 18 to 19 - lane closures for structure maintenance.

M32, from 10pm October 16 to 6am October 18, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M32 northbound, junction 3 to 2 - carriageway closure for central reservation works, diversion - B4051, A38, B4469 Muller Road, re-join M32, Access to Mina Road from M32, junction 3 entry slip road to remain open.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
