Bristol's motorists will have seven road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

Bristol's motorists will have seven road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing a wait of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that seven closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

M4, from 8pm February 12 to 6am February 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 20 entry slip road from M5 southbound, junction 15 closed for SMART motorway improvements, diversion via M4 westbound, exit, junction 22 return to M4 to junction 20.

M5, from 10pm February 12 to 6am February 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 18 to 17, lane closure for carriageway repair.

M32, from 10pm February 12 to 6am February 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M32 northbound, junction 2 to junction 1 hard shoulder closure for barrier repair.

M5, from 9pm February 19 to 5am February 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 18 to 19 - lane closures for structure maintenance.

M5, from 9pm February 21 to 5am February 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 19 to 18 lane closures for structure maintenance.

M5, from 9pm February 21 to 6am February 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 18 to 19 - lane closures for structure maintenance.

M5, from 9pm February 26 to 6am March 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 18 to 19 - lane closures for structure maintenance.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
