Bristol road closures: four for motorists to avoid this week
Bristol's motorists will have four road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And three of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing holdups of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

Hide AdThe latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start this week:
• M5, from 8am February 13 to 4pm February 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 18a exit slip to junction 18 exit slip hard shoulder closure for horticulture.
• M32, from 10pm February 23 to 6am February 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M32 southbound, junction 1 to junction 2 carriageway closure for Cyclical works, diversion via A4174, A38, and B4469 Muller Road.
• M4, from 9pm February 27 to 5am March 4, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 20 entry slip road from M5 southbound, junction 15 closed for SMART motorway improvements, diversion via M4 westbound, exit, junction 22, turn and join M4 eastbound.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
