Bristol restaurant rated as one of the best in the UK for Sunday roasts

A Bristol restaurant serves one of the best Sunday roasts in the UK, according to a new list.

The fifth annual Top 10 Sunday Roast list from Instagram account Rate Good Roasts has been created after experts sampled around 200 roasts around the country.

The Bank in Totterdown, has made it to number seven in the UK Top 10 - the only Bristol establishment to appear in the list.

Every roast is reviewed against ten categories that make up a special Sunday lunch. The establishments are scored for meat, vegetables, sides, venue, drinks, value, potatoes, gravy, service and Yorkshire puddings.

The Bank’s owner Dan O’Regan said: “We never in a million years thought we’d be named in the Top 10 Roasts in the UK. We’re so thrilled to be named alongside some incredible chefs and restaurants.

“We’re so excited to relight our fire later this week and welcome you back to the restaurant for the New Year.”
