Bristol is a city well known for its range of places serving bottomless brunches and also hen parties so it should come as no surprise to see one restaurant combining the two.

Sri Lankan restaurant group The Coconut Tree, which has restaurants on Cheltenham Road and The Triangle, is inviting brides-to-be to celebrate their engagement in ‘coastal island style’ for the first time.

Known for its party atmosphere and tapas-style Sri Lankan sharing plates, The Coconut Tree is a vibrant but laid-back location ideal for brides-to-be and their friends to enjoy a celebration that also feels like a sunny beach vacation.

The hen’s nearest and dearest can enjoy a taste of island life as they celebrate the bride and her upcoming nuptials with one of a range of packages.

The ‘Hen Party Feast with Bubbles’ package costs £35pp and includes unlimited Prosecco with a selection of sharing plates. The table is yours for 2.5 hours.

For the same price and length of time, there’s a ‘Hen Party Feast with cocotails’ including a glass of Prosecco on arrival, a selection of sharing plates and two cocotails, either the St Colombo, Beach Boy or Rio Rumble. Even better, the hen and a friend can have a go at making their own cocotail.
