A Bristol restaurant has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

The Christmas Steps, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 2 Christmas Steps, City Centre, Bristol was given the maximum score after assessment on August 7, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Bristol's 1,122 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 842 (75%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
