An old public toilet block in Bristol has gone on the market for offers over £350,000.

There is already planning consent to demolish the former facility on East Street to make way for a three-storey building containing three flats.

The listing by Bristol Property Centre says: “An exciting opportunity to develop in the heart of Bedminster.

“Planning permission has been granted for the demolition of a disused toilet block and the construction of a three-story residential building comprising three self-contained flats.”

The toilets are at the top end of East Street, next to the Diamond Street car park, and were built in the 1950s.

They were closed in 2018 along with several other public toilets.
